Meet Our Teachers
Amanda Hall
With over 20 years of experience in childcare, I am deeply passionate about fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for every child. My journey began at the age of 12 with my first babysitting job, and it quickly evolved into a lifelong commitment to early childhood education. I attended the Biddeford Vocational Program during my junior year of high school, which laid the foundation for my career.
I currently hold a Level 5 certification on the MRTQ, a director’s credential, and I am also a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP). I will be graduating in May with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. My professional philosophy is centered on the belief that every child deserves the tools to succeed, and it is our responsibility as educators to provide the highest quality of care in a diverse and inclusive setting.
I am a firm believer in a well-rounded curriculum that integrates academics, art, play, and social-emotional learning. These elements are essential for giving children the best possible start on their educational journeys, especially since 95% of a child’s brain develops by age 6. Creating an environment that nurtures creativity, curiosity, and exploration is crucial during these formative years.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is witnessing those magical moments when a child grasps a new concept, whether it’s writing their name or building a towering structure. The joy and pride on their faces are truly priceless, and it drives my passion to continue making a positive impact in their lives.
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
